Steve

We were honoured to be the sole VFX creators for Steve, the BAFTA-nominated feature starring and produced by Cillian Murphy.

Our work spanned a wide range of effects, from subtle injury enhancements and smashed windows through to complex liquid simulations. The standout challenge was transforming over four minutes of drone photography, originally shot on a beautiful sunny day, into a relentless rain-soaked sequence that matched the emotional weight of the story.

This was not a project about spectacle. Every effect existed to support the characters and the themes at the heart of the film, helping to tell a deeply human story about young people facing difficult circumstances.

A thoughtful and powerful production, and one we are proud to have been a small part of.
