Returning to the streets of Summerhouse for the final season of Netflix's BAFTA-winning cult favourite was a real ride.

Across more than 250 shots, we delivered a wide range of VFX work, with a particular focus on the show's trademark gritty action. There was no shortage of gun fights, muzzle flashes and, as fans of the series would probably expect, a healthy amount of blood.

Much of the work was designed to go unnoticed, helping the drama land with maximum impact while keeping everything grounded in the authentic world that has made the show such a phenomenon.

We had endless fun supervising night shoots and finding ourselves in the middle of shootouts, which even before the VFX felt a little too real…
