Whippy

We had the pleasure of editing and colour grading Whippy for Vigilante, a film that asks an important question: just how far would you go to defend your ice cream territory?

Set in 1980s Glasgow, the story follows a messy turf war between rival ice cream firms after one rogue vendor makes the bold decision to start selling Knobbly Bobblies on Mr Sprinkles’ patch. As you might expect, things escalate.

Part crime drama, part comedy and entirely unique, Whippy balances genuine intensity with plenty of laughs. Our job was helping shape the tone in the edit and giving the film its final look through colour.

A brilliantly bonkers project and an absolute pleasure to work on.
